Planning a baby shower for a mom-to-be can be a huge undertaking but there are a variety of great ways to plan a baby shower that will be memorable for all. You do not have to be a party planning professional to be able to throw a baby shower party that everyone will enjoy. One way that you can personalize the party favors is to use favor tags, so each person has their name on their favor. Or you an personalize the favors with the mom-to-be's name, shower date or speical message or baby shower poem.  This makes the favors seem so personal and delights the guests that are in attendance, making each one feel important and special.

One consideration for a theme for the baby shower may be a baby theme. You can choose a theme based on the sex of the baby or you can ask the mother-to-be what theme she is using in her nursery and incorporate it into the baby shower.  Many times, if the parents are using a character themed nursery, you can find party ware and decorations with ease that go along with the theme.

Break Tradition: Hold a Co-Ed Baby Shower

While tradition has usually made a baby shower out to be a party for women, why not break that tradition and invite men to the shower as well.
