MAY DAY!  May Days!
Tips To Enjoying This Busy Time Of Year

Does your calendar look as packed as mine?  You know, with not-to-be-missed teas, showers, graduations, weddings, and birthday parties scribbled in all the squares?  What's a well-meaning woman to do to stay calm and cool during this bustling time of year?

  • Well first, take a deep breath and know that a busy schedule is a blessing.  Keep the meaning of this busyness in perspective.  You have people who love you and want you to be involved with their good times!
  • Next, make sure you are getting plenty of rest.  A sleepy body is a grumpy body and nobody wants to have a grump ruining their happy occasion.  Plus, a sleep-deprived body has a weaker immune system and with a busy schedule, who has time to get sick?
  • Speaking of that immune system, another smart thing to do is eat right and limit the amount of celebration goodies that you eat.  We all love those yummy little sweets and cakes but sugary foods will not just affect our waistlines but will also affect our ability to fight off viruses that we come into contact with every day.  Boosting your immune system with science-backed supplements like ImmunoStart chewables is also a smart step.
  • Lastly, keep a good sense of humor.  There aren't any organizational tips that will de-stress you better than a good laugh.  Take time to socialize with those good-natured folks that will make you smile.  With all of the sad and stressful things going on in the world these days, it's the fun and joyful times that keep us energized!
